Given,
Height of hole 1 from floor, h1=20 cm
Height of hole 2 from floor, h2=30 cm
Height of hole 3 from floor, h3=45 cm
Height of hole 4 from floor, h4=50 cm


We know that for maximum horizontal range, height of the hole from the floor is given by h=H2.


h=902=45 cm=h3
Therefore, water coming out from hole 3 will fall on the ground at maximum horizontal range.
