Question

A dairy farm sells 80% of the milk packets produced daily and is left with 1000 packets. Find the number of milk packets produced daily.

Open in App
Solution

Percentage of milk packets sold = 80%
Remaining number of packets = 1000
Percentage of milk packets unsold
= 100% - 80%
= 20%
Now, 20% of milk packets = 1000
100% = (1000/20) x 100
= 5000
Hence, number of milk packets = 5000
