Question

A Data can have more than one____

Open in App
Solution

In a set of data, the mode is the most frequently observed data value. There may be no mode if no value appears more than any other. There may also be two modes (bimodal), three modes (trimodal), or four or more modes (multimodal).

But for the data mean and median will be an individual values.

Since the mean is the sum of all observations by the total number of observations and the median is middle term id number of observation is odd

If suppose there is an even number of observations then the median will be the average of the middle two terms but for sure median value will be one.

Hence, data can have more than one mode.
