A dead human body is in water is swell and the alive human body it is also in a same kind of water it sinks?how?

Dear student,

A dead body decomposes in water as the organs cells absorb water.The decomposed body increases in volume weight to displace more water to float. A living body cannot displace water as the volume and tends to sink in water.
