Solution

A dealer buys 100quintals of wheat at 550 a quintal.

The cost price of whole wheat =550×100=55000.

Transportation and storage cost =10000

The total cost price of wheat =10000+55000=65000

Since wheat is sold at 6.50perkg,

therefore, the selling price of whole wheat =6.50×100×100=65000 (1quintal=100kg)

As the selling price is equal to the cost price, the shopkeeper neither makes a profit nor suffers a loss.
