Solution

(a)

MASS

The total quantity of matter contained in an object is called its mass.

It is scalar quantity.

It is measured by beam balance.

Mass of the object remains constant at all the places.

We can measure mass of an object by its inertia.

SI unit of mass is ”kg”.

(b) T
he weight of an object is related to the amount of force acting on the object, either due to gravity or to a reaction force that holds it in place

Weight = Force

SI unit : kg⋅m/sec^2

SI unit: newton (N)

(c)
W = m * g
Mass is the amount of matter a body has. Since W=mg ,So weight is that unit which we get by multiplying mass of a body and gravitional force accquired to displace a body.
