Solution

The correct option is C Electroscope
An electroscope is a device used to detect the presence of electric charge on a body. A metal rod is fitted into the mouth of a large jar with the help of a cork. At the lower end of the metal rod, a pair of thin leaves of gold or aluminium is suspended. When a charged body is touched to the mouth of the jar, its leaves diverge as they are of same nature and repel each other.
