  1. Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) is a device that trips if the current becomes exceedingly high.
  2. It is an alternative arrangement of the fuse.
  3. The main problem with the fuse is that the fuse wire blows up, and it should be replaced immediately.
  4. MCB does not blow off if the current exceeds, it trips i.e puts off the switch and cut off the power supply if the current exceeds its safe limit.
