Solution

The correct option is C 1,00,000
Let the weight of the four piece of diamond be x,2x,3x,4xrespectively
The weight of the original diamond =x+2x+3x+4x=10x
Let the price of the original diamond =k(100x2)
cost of four pieces=k(x2+4x2+9x2+16x2)=k(30x2)
Loss in the total value of the diamond=k(100x2)k(30x2)=7000
k(70x2)=70000
kx2=1000
Hence price of the original diamond =k(100x2)
=RS100000
