We see that all the heat produced to the decrease in the volume is conducted to the cylinder. Thus the temperature remains constant. No change in temperature of gas, hence change in linear momentum of molecule in each collision remains constant. Thus A is incorrect.
Using the relation PV=nRT, we see that pressure is increases due to decrease in volume and thus pressure force on the walls and the piston increases.
