Find the probability of getting a number less than 3

Given:

Total number of possible outcomes =20

Number less than 3 are 2 and 1

From the table,
Number of times 2 occurred =3
Number of times 1 occurred =2

Total number of favorable outcomes =2+3=5

Probability of getting a number less than 3

=Number of favourable outcomesTotal number of possible outcomes

=520

=14

Hence, probability of getting a number less than 3 is 14.
