The correct option is B 47
P(1)=1×k=k; where k is the proportionality constant.
P(2)=2k
P(3)=3k
P(4)=4k
P(5)=5k
P(6)=6k.
Hence Total =21k.
Now probability that the face which turns up has even number
=P(2)+P(4)+P(6)P(total)
=2k+4k+6k21k
=1221
=47.
Also P(total) has to be 1.
Hence 21k=1
k=121.
