A die is thrown once. Find the probability of getting a number which is either a multiple of 2 or 3.

If a die is thrown then its sample space contains 6 points and they are {1,2,3,4,5,6}.
Now the outcome to be either a multiple of 2 or 3 then for this event the sample space contains the points {2,4,3,6} i.e. 4 points.
Now, the probability for this event is 46=23.
