Solution
A die is thrown, Sample space, S={1,2,3,4,5,6} ∴n(S)=6 A is an event of getting a number divisible by 3. ∴A={3,6} n(A)=2 ∴P(A)=n(A)n(S)=26=13 and B is an event of getting a number less than 5. ∴B={1,2,3,4} n(B)=4 ∴P(B)=n(B)n(S)=46=23
