Also, A : number is even and B : number is red A=(2,4,6),B=(1,2,3) and AB=2.n(A)=3,n(B)=3,n(AB)=1Now, P(A)=36=12,PAB=16and P(A)× P(B)=12×12=1416=P(AB)P(AB) P(A)P(B)

Thus, A and B are not independent events.
