The correct option is C x=2,y=2
Equilibrium constant for dimerisation is Kc=[A2][A]2

Initial: 1 0
After time t:1αα2
So,Kc=[α2][1α]2
Now, i=1α+α2=1α2
As we know that, ΔTf=iKfmi=ΔTfKfmi=1α2=ΔTfKfmα2=1ΔTfKfm1α=12(1ΔTfKfm)=2×ΔTfKfm1
Put in above equation, we get Kc=Kf[Kf×mΔTf][2ΔTfKf×m]2
So we get x=2 and y=2.
