As the disc rolls on the surface the
VA=VCOM+(ωrAO) (i)
Similarly,
VB=VCOM+(ωrBO) (ii)
VAB=VAVB
So, using equation (i) and (ii), we get
VAB=ω(rAOrBO)
VAB=ωrAB=ωr2
