Is garbage disposal the responsibility only of the government?

Proper disposal of garbage should be a concern of every citizen and not just of the government. Each and every individual must reduce activities that pollute the environment. Improper disposal of garbage causes diseases. Non-biodegradable wastes like plastic and polythene bags are harmful to the environment. We should find out ways to reduce the generation of garbage and should try to use recyclable materials in our daily life.
