A disease in which antibiotic has no role.

Solution

  1. Antibiotics are chemicals that kill bacteria and thereby help fight the disease caused by it.
  2. AIDS or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is caused by the virus HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus).
  3. Since it is a viral disease that affects the immune system of the patient, no antibiotic is able to work against it.
  4. The virus activates the patient's immune cells to attack the native body cells.
  5. As a result, no antibody is able to revert this immunological alteration in the patient's body.
