(a) Homo polymer- The addition polymer formed by polymerisation of single monomeric species is known as homopolymer.

Ex: Polythene

The polymer formed by addition of 2 different monomers are termed as co-polymer.

Ex: Buna-S

(b) Monomer of (i) Poly vinyl chloride – vinyl chloride

(ii) Teflon – Tetra fluoro ethylene

(iii) Bakelite – Phenol and formal dehyde
