The correct option is B 20 cm convergent
For a lens of refractive index n immessed in a liquid of refractive index nr the focal length is
1f=(nnr1)(1R11R2)...(1)
Given,
Focal length in air =20 cm (divergent)
120=(1.511)(1R11R2)
(1R11R2)=110...(2)
Substituting (2) in (1) gives

1f=(1.5nr1)(110)
1f=(1.531)(110)
=120
f=+20 cm
i.e., 20 cm convergent.
