Solution

The correct option is B Secondary

A DNS Secondary server gets its data from another NDS server.

A primary/secondary DNS server setup is a master/slave setup where the primary DNS server is the master and the secondary DNS server is the slave. The secondary server is created at a second DNS provider to provide redundancy in the DNS network.

Configuring the source DNS server to allow for zone transfers (steps will be accomplished on both DNS Servers). Launch the DNS console and secondary click on the Forward Look Zone that you desire so configure Zone Transfers on, click on Properties. To allow zone transfers, select the Allow zone transfers check box.

Install DNS Server Role in Server 2012. To add a new role to Windows Server 2012, you use Server Manager. Start Server Manager, click the Manage menu, and then select Add Roles and Features. Click Next on the Add Roles and Features Wizard Before you begin window that pops up.

Secondary Zones are a DNS feature that allows the entire DNS database from a Master DNS server to be transferred to the Secondary. A Secondary Zones allows an organization to provide fault tolerance and load balancing to internal names.

Type "ipconfig /all" at the command prompt, then press the "Enter" key. 3. Look for the field labeled "DNS Servers." The first address is the primary DNS server, and the next address is the secondary DNS server.
