A dog is tied to a pole with a rope of length 49 m. If it rotates about the pole in a circular path as away as possible from the pole, then what is the distance covered by the dog after one revolution about the pole?

The distance covered by the dog after one revolution about the pole is nothing but the circumference of the circle.
Circumference of the circle = 2πr
Here, r is the length of the rope = 49 m

Circumference = 2×227×49
=308m
The distance covered by the dog after one revolution about the pole is 308 m.
