A double beam CRO has a bandwidth of 10MHz. Two signals V1(t)=10sin(2π×20×103t) and V2(t)=10sin(2π×20×106t) are applied to the two channels. If P1andP2 are the peak-to-peak values of the signals displayed, then

Solution
The correct option is AP1=20,P2=20 GivenbandwidthofCRO=10MHz
andfrequencyofV1=20kHz andfrequencyofV2=20MHz
So, CRO passes V1 as it is but compressses V2.
This compression in V2 do not effect peak values and hence peak to peak value will be unchanged. For V1, peak to peak value is P1=10−(−10)=20V
