Total weight of rice and drum = $40 \frac{1}{6} k g = \frac{241}{6} k g$

Weight of empty drum = $13 \frac{3}{4} = \frac{55}{4} k g$

$∴$ Weight of rice = $(\frac{241}{6} - \frac{55}{4}) k g$

$= \frac{482 - 165}{12} = \frac{317}{12} k g = 26 \frac{5}{12} k g A n s .$
