(a) Explain any two factors which justify the need of modulating a low frequency signal.
(b) Write two advantages of frequency modulation over amplitude modulation.

(A) Two reason are:-

(i) prevent signal of different frequency from mixing with each other.

(ii) To propagate weak signal more effectively.

(B) Advantages of$FM$over$AM$:-

(i) Improved signal to noise ratio (about 25 dB) w.r.t. to man made interference.

(ii) Less radiated power.
