Here take a look at the number 44, it is an even number.

So, if we add two even number result would be even, but we only have one even prime number which is 2, so this case fails.

Now if we add two Odd numbers we can get an even number

So there are two possible cases:

3 + 41 = 44 and 7 + 37 = 44
