Finding the ratio

Given that, factory manufactures 400 boxes out of which 28 are defective boxes.

So, good boxes =400-28=372

Now, ratio of the number of good boxes produced to the defective ones =37228

=372÷428÷4=937=93:7

Hence, the required ratio is 93:7
