Question

a fair die is rolled 30 times .How many times would u expect a 2 or a 6 to be rolled

Open in App
Solution

Dear student
The probability of getting a 2 or a 6 = p(2) + p(6)
= (1/6) + (1/6)
p(2 or 6) = 1/3
If the fair dice is rolled thirty times then we can expect 30*(1/3) = 10 times that we get a 2 or a 6.
Thank you
