Solution

The correct option is C 12 %
Suppose the number of items =100
C.P. of each item =Rs.1
Total C.P. =Rs.100
Then number of items remaining after theft =80
S.P. of 1 item =1×110100=Rs.1.10
S.P. of 80 items =80×1.1
=Rs.88
Loss=Rs.100Rs.88
=Rs.12
