4 notes of ₹ 50 = 4 x ₹ 50 = ₹ 200
3 notes of ₹ 200 = 3 x ₹ 200 = ₹ 600
Remaining amount = ₹1000 - ₹(200+600)
= ₹1000 - ₹ 800
= ₹ 200
Number of 100 -rupee notes = ₹200/ ₹100
= 2
