Angular speed of fan at t=0
ω0=300 rev/min
ω0=300 rev/min=30060 rev/s=5 rev/s
Angular speed of fan at t=10 s
ω=0 (comes to rest)

From eqn. ω=ω0+αt
0=5+α(10)
or α=0.5 rev/s2 ... (1)

From eqn. ω2=ω20+2αθ
0=(5)2+2×(0.5 rev/s2)×θ
or θ=25 rev
