A fan starts rotating with an angular acceleration 2 rad/s2. After it accelerates for 5 s, for next 5 s it rotated with constant velocity & then deaccelerates for next 10 s & stops. Find the total number of rotations.

ω=ω0+αt1

=0+2×5

After 5 sec, ω=10 rad/s

Total angular displacement = area enclosed by the trapezium =12×10×(5+20)

=5×25

=125 rad
