Length of new farm = 270 yd

Length of old farm = 45 yd

Ratio of length of new and old fields =
270:45=6:1

Width of new farm = 180 yd

Width of old farm = 30 yd

Ratio of width of new and old field =
180:30=6:1

So, Scaling factor = Dimension of new shapeDimension of old shape

Scaling factor = 61 =6

Hence, the scaling factor used is 6.
