A farmer has sheep and cows in the ratio 8:3
How many sheep has the farmer, if he has 180 cows?
(ii) find the ratio of the number of sheep to the total number of animals the farmer has.
(iii) Find he ratio of the total number of animals with the farmer to the number of cows with him.

AS $\frac{sheeps}{cows}=\frac{8}{3}\Rightarrow sheeps=\frac{8}{3}\times 180=480$

$\Rightarrow$ Total animals = 480 + 180 = 660

$\Rightarrow$ (i) Ratio= $\frac{480}{660}=\frac{8}{11}$

(ii)Ratio $=\frac{660}{180}=\frac{11}{3}$
