Scaling factor = Dimension of new shape/Dimension of original shape

Length of new field = 270 m

Length of old field = 45 m

Ratio of length of new and old field
= 270:45
= 6:1

Width of new field = 180 m

Width of old field = 30 m

Ratio of width of new and old field
= 180:30
= 6:1

Scaling factor = Dimension of new shape/Dimension of original shape

Scaling factor = 61 = 6

Hence, the scaling factor used is 6.
