We have given a land of $\frac{1}{2} A c r e$ .We have to divide it in two equal parts so as to $2$ types of wheat if the farmer planted an equal amount of each type of wheat.
we get: $= \frac{1}{2} \div 2$
On reciprocating, we get:
$\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{1}{2} = \frac{1}{4}$
Therefore, $\frac{1}{4}$ acres of each type of wheat will the farmer plant.
