The correct option is A 6
Total number of tomato plants =42
Number of plants in each row =8
Number of rows required =total number of tomato plantsnumber of plants in each row

=42÷8
Solving by long division method:

Quotient = 5
Remainder = 2
5 rows are completely filled with plants. 2 tomato plants need to filled in a partially filled row.
So farmer needs to fill in 5+1=6 rows.
