Solution

A father divides some money among their sons =7000

Age of younger son =7years

The age of the elder one is 3years older than the younger ones.

So, the age of the elder son =4years

The ratio of the ages of sons =7:10

Thus, the father divides money in the ratio to the sons age.

so, the share of the money younger son to the elder son is 7x&10xrespectively.

Total money = The share of the younger son + The share of the elder son

7000=7x+10x7000=17xx=700017

Share of the younger son =7x=7×700017=2882.35

Share of the elder son =10x=10×700017=4117.65

Hence, the share of the younger son is 2882.35 and the share of the elder son is4117.65
