The symptoms of chicken pox are fever, headache, fatigue, rashes which appear first on the trunk then on the limbs and face. These rashes crop up to form blisters. Shingles, a painful rash, can be caused by the virus due to the reactivation of Varicella zoster.
Symptoms of other diseases:
– Smallpox — Presence of deep pits or scars known as pockmarks.
– Measles— Rash appears first on the back of the ear and face and then spreads downwards on the body.
– Mumps— Painful swelling of the parotid glands.
