Solution

Pot A: Without nutrients:
  1. As no nutrients are added to the pot and the seed is watered only, seed does not germinate.
  2. After 10 days, the seeds fails to germinate because of the absence of nutrients.

Pot B: Cow dung:

  1. Cow dung added to the soil acts as a natural manure.
  2. It is rich with nutrients that can easily enter the soil when decomposed.
  3. Therefore, due to soil enrichment caused by the natural fertilizer the seeds are going to germinate.

Pot C: Urea:

  1. Urea is commonly used as a chemical fertilizer and it helps with enriching the soil.
  2. The nutrient enrichment due to urea increases the soil fertility and presence of nitrogen in the soil.
  3. This will also lead to germination of seeds.
