b. Water pollution by releasing toxic substances in industrial waste waters that can undergo biomagnification in the aquatic food chain.
Pathological labs without no objection certificates from municipal authorities may generate hazardous wastes that contain disinfectants and other harmful chemicals, and also pathogenic micro-organisms.
