Solution

The correct option is C

28

Let the number of tickets sold at Rs. 10 be x and number of tickets sold at Rs. 12 be (100 – x).

10x + 12 (100 – x) = 1056

10x – 12x =

1056 – 1200

–2x = –144

2x = 144

x = 72.

Number of tickets sold at Rs. 12 = 100 – 72 = 28
