Length of the fence $= \frac{T o t a l C o s t}{R a t e p e r m e t r e} = \frac{2640}{12} = 220 m$

Now, $2 π r = 220$

$2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 220$

$\Rightarrow r = 35 m$

$∴ A r e a = π r^{2} = π (35)^{2}$

Cost of ploughing the whole field $= π (35)^{2} \times 0.50 = R s . 1925$
