The correct option is A $50$ cm
Volume of earth taken out = volume of the tank
$= 30 \times 20 \times 12 m^{3}$
Area of the tank $= l \times b$
$= (30 \times 20) m^{2}$
$= 600 m^{2}$
Area of the field $(500 \times 30) m^{2}$
$= 15000 m^{2}$
Area of the reaming field $= (15000 - 600) m^{2}$
$= 14400 m^{2}$
$∴$ level of the filed raised
$= \frac{7200}{14400} m = \frac{1}{2} m$
$= 50 c m$
