Since a firecracker has a sound intensity of 145 dB, which is exactly an average of sound intensities of jet engine at take off and fighter jet launch, we can say that 145 dB lies exactly in between the two scales i.e. by aadding and subtracting 5 from 145 dB we will get required sound intensity scales for jet engine and fighter jet. So, the required numbers are 140 dB and 150 dB.
