The correct option is A $12.5$ m
Flagstaff and shade forms right triangle with height $17.5$ m and base $40.25$ m
$\frac{17.5}{40.25} = tan (θ)$
under similar conditions $θ$ will remain same.
Lets assume height of the building as $H$
Hence, $tan (θ) = \frac{17.5}{40.25}$ $= \frac{H}{20.75}$
