Solution

Step 1. 3.2 g of sulphur dioxide (SO2)

Step 2. No. of moles =MassofcompoundMolecularweight

and no. of molecules =moles×6.02×1023

Step 3. (i) No. of moles =3.2g64

=0.05

(ii) No. of molecules =0.05×6.02×1023

=3.01×1022molecules

Therefore, moles of sulphur dioxide is 0.05 moles and number of molecules is 3.01×1022molecules
