Question

A flask having a volume of 250.0 ml and containing air is heated to 100 degree C and sealed. Then the flask is cooled to 25 degree C, immersed in water, and opened.
What volume of water will be drawn back into the flask, assuming the pressure remaining constant?

We know Charle's Law assuming constant pressure gives us,
V1T1=V2T2
Given,
T1=373K,T2=298K
So,V1=250mL and V2=?
Now on substituting these in the equation,
250373=V2298
V2=50.27cm3
