The price of a dozen tulips is $30.
Number of tulips in a dozen =12
Price of 12 tulips is $30.
Price of one tulip = Price of 12 tulips ÷ Number of tulips
=30÷1230÷12=2.5
Price of each tulip =$2.5
Price of 20 tulips = Number of tulips × Price of each tulip =20×$2.5
